A renewed reissue of this legendary UK hard psych/prog album, originally released by RCA in 1969. Andromeda featured John Du Cann (previously of mod-legends The Attack, later in Atomic Rooster), bass player Mick Hawksworth and drummer Jack Collins.
After these three musicians had recorded a concept album for the Saga budget imprint as Five Day Week Straw People ('68), they continued under the Andromeda moniker. In spite of support from John Peel, a tour with Black Sabbath and praise from Pete Townshend as well as a number of journalists, the LP failed to sell, after which the band soon folded. Nevertheless, the album became highly rated by connoisseurs of psych, prog and early hard rock. This re-issue includes a free 7-inch single featuring the tracks 'Keep Out 'Cos I'm Dying' and the trio's re-recorded version of the Attack-song 'Go Your Way', and three inserts, a sketch by John Du Cann and two reproduced concert posters. The cover is laminated and presents the original artwork.
